The Florecita Farm Neighborhood is a hidden dream
Neighborhood. Florecita Farm is an
Altadena Neighborhood yet, it is considered “The Island of Pasadena”
It is a
neighborhood, that encompassed by many cul de sacs at the most West Part of
Altadena.
Views of our majestic glowing Sierra Madre Mountains can be seen
by most houses. It is a neighborhood
where most people know each other, making the afternoon family walks friendly.
Encompassed by Mid-Century homes and Mid Century family
feel. There is a $10 voluntary HOA for
contribution to neighborhood functions.
Past neighborhood functions have included Yearly Christmas Parties,
Valentines, Spring/Easter brunches and egg hunt, and Summer Ice cream socials
as well as Neighborhood, Nights Out.
There is a neighborhood watch group and a Cert Program as
well for Emergency preparedness.
The neighborhood is walker friendly with beautiful sun
glowing views of the Sierra Madre's. The
trail head to the bike, horse, and hiking trails is down the street. (Many JPL
employees utilize the trail to work)
A classic suburban neighborhood with urban amenities
nearby. Adjacent too many transportation
options, FWY, Bus. Metro, leading to many neighborhood eateries, bars, world
class shopping, architectural and historic venues, football as well as Charter
Schools. There are many free venues as
well, such as concerts in the park, Art Walks, street fairs, farmers markets,
the famous Christmas Tree Lane and The Rose bowl Parade.
